Get the skills you need to effectively and efficiently run a retail pool business. These eight-hour self-paced online interactive courses give students a strong foundation in core business topics needed in today’s world.

CRP 101:

Designed to educate your sales forces so that they can confidently assist customers and ultimately increase sales, it introduces the core principles of pool and spa operations and best practices for sales and customer service.

CRP 201:

Designed to increase retail managers skills and confidence in supervising, hiring, training and leading, this eight-hour self-paced online interactive course gives students a strong foundation about the management aspects of running a retail store.  

After completing the course, you will have:

CRP 101: Gained a strong understanding of the following: basic water chemistry, pool finishes, pool and spa circulation systems, safety at a retail environment, customer service and sales best practices, retail housekeeping and much more.

 

CRP 201: Gained a strong understanding of the following: operation and inventory, human relations, communication and leadership skills, marketing and merchandising, sales techniques and financial management skills.

No industry experience or prerequisites are required.

The complete CRP certification online self-paced course costs $155 (plus sales tax).

Brand-new Online Format for CRP 101 and 201 Courses

This new self-paced online course format is interactive and engaging with videos, quizzes and interactive exercises. You have the option to purchase the full course or a specific module. 

Testing

Students that successfully complete the online course will receive a certificate of completion. Students can take the certification test at a regional APSP Chapter or regional event, or take the proctored exam at an accredited college or university.
